Nowadays women are ruling the world with their badass behavior and their political views followed by their hard core activism and their ability to look unbothered while doing so. We are literally killing the game when it comes to claiming things and simply owning it. Did you know that 20% of women living in the U.S earn at least $5,000 more than their spouse or that women speak about 20,000 words a day, which equals out to 13,000 more words than the average man does? Believe it or not, we've got a lot to say, and this leading dialogue should be carried in our homes, our work spaces and even our bar encounters.
Ever stand at the bar and lock eyes with a very attractive being and the chemistry is so high that you both can feel it from across the room? Yet, you are both playing it cool because it seems like the best thing to do in this kind of situation, so you only stare at them when they are not looking. And then that moment comes when the two of you catch each other staring, however no ones making the first move. At this point, I’m sure you're asking yourself why won’t they just walk over and introduce themselves? Well, we think 2017 is the year to approach and proclaim what is yours, or in this case, what has the potential to be “yours” . Here’s some tips on how we make that first move.
First Base: Walk over. Approach them first without initially giving them your name. Mention something about the music being played or what it is that they're drinking. Get a sense of their vibe and see how interested they are.
Second Base: If the chemistry is still lit after you've exchanged names, keep the conversation going by showing you're interested with soft smirks and head nods (aka the sexiest version of yourself). *Take note to see if he or she offers to buy you a drink, it means more than you think*
Third Base: If the music is still at its peek, use this to your advantage and ask them to meet you on the dance floor. You lead. They follow. You give strong eye contact while dancing; its time to show em what you got.
Home Base: After you've grooved to a couple of tracks, the ball is now in your court and its time to get the digits. You tell them that you'll be heading out soon (doing this adds a sense of urgency to exchange contacts). We suggest the old school pen and paper style. It adds a deeper element to this experience. Make yourself unforgettable.
