So, two weekends ago we were invited to HolistiCitiLyfe's "Unmask Your Natural Beauty". event. And since we are all about beauty and wellness, we were thrilled to take part in the festivities and even more excited to see that most of these women looked like us. Here's a recap of what went down that Sunday and why you should get hip to what these beauty and health mavens have to offer.
Unmask Your Natural Beauty took place at House of Juice, a funky "Garden to Cup" juice bar in Brooklyn, offering a variety of flavored filled drinks and a beautifully decorated interior. Upon arriving we received a VIP bag stuffed with cards and products from rising creators, each making a mark on the beauty and health world! We shared some of those dope makers below!
There we're a selection of vendors selling products, ranging from skincare, haircare and even aroma candles. It happened to be a sunny and warm Sunday in Brooklyn, so the mood mimicked the weather; warm and inviting. While grooving to the curated playlist and sipping on a cold pressed Purple Heart juice, we felt like we had fallen into our own little heaven; a place where everyone appreciated both inner and outer beauty! WOW! That Sunday left us feeling inspired and wanting to share that mental stimulation with the world, so here you have it, folks! If you missed this one, no worries, there is so much more that HolisticCitiLyfe has to offer.
Ama.la : This rejuvenating cocoa bean serum has its way of penetrating through the skin , keeping it soft and hydrated. This is to be applied directly after cleansing the skin but we find it better when it's paired with moisturizing oils like aloe vera oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil or even olive oil. (1)
SW Basics: This Hibiscus facial mask blended with organic ingredients such as hibiscus , lavender and French green clay, leaves the skin feeling cleansed of all dirt, residue and make-up. Using this mask once a week is just enough to maintain a healthy glow. (2)
For. ti. fy'd Naturals: Absolutely perfect for our curly strands. This vegan leave -in conditioner softens the hair and hydrates extremely well (not weighing the hair down; it's just right!) It's good for detangling our curls and it has a fresh powdered scent to it too that we love. (3)
Butter by Keba: Not a perfume kind of girl ? Well this fragrance body butter is perfect for adding a subtle scent that will last you from morning to evening, trust us! Its the perfect butter to place directly near/on your pressure points! (4)
Love Notes Candle: Its simple! You light it and fall in deep love with your space all over again. Not to mention it leaves a really nice smell with its holiday aroma and vanilla and lavender infused scent. Perfect for gift giving this holiday season! (5)
